I feel that my weight is lighter now and that is great. To tell you, it is a kind of hard work that I almost gave up after months taking exercises and doing some sports. I ought to divide my time between my work and my weight and it was apparently something impossible for me to do so. Moreover, things were quite hard when I could hardly manage them. My work seemed to need me to pay extra attention especially on this peak season; meanwhile, by sitting on my work desk before a set of computer without any other exercising activities, fat got more and more around my belly. It’s confusing indeed, though in the end I found myself on the way to the gym or jogged in the morning.
It was five months ago when I decided to begin losing my weight; it was quite a shame for me because I had never weighed more than 150 lbs. it was also a kind of smooth start with jogging early in the morning for about 3 to 4 miles. It was tiring though; yet I was very enthusiastic in accomplishing the distance. I did it for almost every weekend, on Saturdays and Sundays. It was quite good moment and I began to enjoy it until I had to stop when my Boss sent me to another city representing him and the Company for a general forum meeting on the weekend, and the other weekend I got a little flu. After those two inactive weekends, I then got lazy to restart.
Nevertheless, I had never missed my schedule at a gym; I could do that wherever I am. Gyms are available in almost every city my country, and hotels where I stay for any meetings are also providing this service. One thing that sometimes annoys me is that when the tool, I regularly use for my abdominal exercise, is not available or being used. I did not wish to use other tools like dumbbells or what-so-call butterfly machines or something else because I don’t find any use for my target and, as a matter of fact, I don’t know how to use them. At the gym, I never exercise less than an hour; or when I had to do something urgently before an hour, I decided to continue later after all on the same day.
Now, I don’t realize that my weight is actually reduced though my stomach does not seem to change. An aerobic instructor from the gym I regularly do exercise told me that my body is dry enough. He has been helping me monitoring the progress of my activity in the gym. Actually I am not sure if I could understand with the word of ‘dry’ here but I am sure that it is a positive result of my struggle so far, and I am glad with that.
