When it comes to watching satellite television, I have one channel in particular that I really enjoy. The irony is, that I don’t nearly appreciate this channel as much as my children do. This channel is Nick Jr., which used to be Noggin for several years.
The beauty of this particular channel, is that you have kid programming twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, without any commercial interruption. If you have small children that love to watch kid programming, than you can certainly appreciate the fact that you are not going to have to deal with any breaks in the action. I found this channel after looking up the channel listing directv family package for channels my children and I could watch together.
That is not to suggest that you can just plop your children down and not hear from them for the rest of the day. This is slated to be like preschool on television, in fact, that’s their slogan. So, you can treat it much like preschool for your little one and limit their viewing to something equivalent to the time that they would have been in preschool.
Not to mention, that the programs that come on Nick Jr. are informative and fun. So your children are able to interact with their favorite characters while learning a lot along the way. Important things like learning to count, learning the alphabet, and much more.
If you wanted to learn about my favorite channel, it would certainly be Nick Jr. It helps my children to learn while allowing them to have a little fun at the same time. As a proud and loving parent, that is why this channel takes my top spot.
