A while ago, coincidentally I watched the grand final round on miss beauty 2009 in my country on TV. I am not really interested in this kind of program, as a matter of fact; however, most of my family was already around the only TV in the house. Lazily I followed what was happening on TV. Everybody was talking about a nice looking girl who they said was living in the neighborhood. Of course the people in the whole city, perhaps in the province I live, are supporting her. My family yielded her name loudly when she was giving her presentation on modeling judgment. She just looks cute, I guess, a little bit different from the other 4 finalists from other provinces. And in my opinion, she does not look as beautiful as the others.
Guess what, she came up as the winner for the whole year! Since, again, I am not really eager to the show; I did not pay much thought on the result. But what goes in my mind is that how she could beat the other finalists that looked more attractive to me. Was that something wrong in the judgment? Or perhaps there was something has been done to raise her to be the winner? I guess she comes from a moderate family that has no big capabilities on doing such a thing. How could she?
Short talk I heard from my family that they know her quite well as a nice, humble and cheerful girl who like making friends everywhere. My sister who is a friend of hers in their school added that she has a high sense of social care that makes her be loved by her friends and teachers. She is just a girl that likes to be around others and likes to listen better than to speak. Her speaking style is also just merely common as other girls in her age, but her words have meaning and she never withdraws her words. Something else that I start to like her more is that she is chosen as a school library keeper, a librarian’s assistant, with the duty of making sure all books are available according to the library inventory. And she likes the job.
Well, I guess I was wrong to judge her, and I am sure all judges at the show had made the good choice. Women beauty is not always seen from the physical attractiveness; it is much more coming up from inside – which is mostly called inner beauty.
